Trivia Night Planned

Great fun, great food, great contact opportunity!  August 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. you will find SBOA members and others interested in small business gathered at the Boone County Cooperative Extension Service office, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, KY 41005 for networking and informal interaction. A DJ will host a triva competition while attendees have a chance to eat, socialize, and test their trivia knowledge. Cost:  $5.00 for members, $10.00 for potential members. Come on out to meet some great people and test your knowledge of lesser known facts! For more information e-mail events at sboanky.org.

Speed Networking Event Set

October 21, 2010, 6:30 p.m. Join fellow small business owners for a night of speed networking and ice cream! The group will gather at the Boone County Cooperative Extension Service office, 6028 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, KY at 6:30 p.m.  The program for the evening will involve an organized speed networking program where attendees can make important business contacts. 2010 Membership

Any home-based, micro- or small business owner or supporter wanting to join the Small Business Owners Association for 2010 may do so at this time. The membership year runs from January to December. The annual fee is $50 per year. Members names and company information are listed on this Web site. Additionally members receive discounted prices to any SBOA event with a fee, and have an opportunity to display information about their businesses at each of the monthly meetings.  Individuals who are actively involved in the group report building great business relationships, increasing their business through those relationships, and improving their own business skills through work with the group.  As with any group -- you get out of it what you put into it.

Come on, join the SBOA in 2010!  You are sure to learn something that will help yourself or your business!!  If you want more information about the group stop by any of the monthly general membership meetings (second Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m.) or give someone on the leadership team a call!
